Princess and Sweet as Peaches

Good afternoon and Happy Mother's Day. I hope you are all having a fabulous day!

My post today is using a brand new monthly image from Stamper's Delights.

Check out month's membership images on the website,  Princess sweet as peaches is a stunner! I have added mushrooms to her and colored her with Copic Markers. The mushrooms are a separate image, I pasted multiples resized them to make a background pattern which again I colored with Copics.

I matted a A7 card base with red card and some patterned paper. My image and background were trimmed to size and added to the base the mushrooms adhered flat and image with foam tape. Finally I die cut P L A Y 4 times, stacked them together and added to my card with foam squares.

It's cold outside

Good afternoon! the first week of the year has passed - how did it go for you?

the sale at Stamper's Delights continues all images (excluding bundles or zodiac kits) are 50% off so go shop until you drop!

My inspiration today is using a chibi image It's Get-Well-Girl however I have used her for a winter card:

I printed her onto stamping card and colored her with Copic markers - I did make a bit of a boo boo i colored the left part of her pillow same as the blanket - but hey it looked like the folds of her blanket so I left it.
I worked out where my image was going to sit and die cut a window from teal colored cardstock sized to mat onto an A7 card base. I  worked out where I wanted my image to sit and die cut the window. This was also from Kraft card, then both windows were glued together.
I sent the teal card through my printer adding my typed sentiment to it.
The back of the window 'hole' was covered with snowflake patterned paper, turned over and matted on to my base. The windows were adhered into the hole giving me a window frame.
Finally I added my image with foam tape. I decorated her mug with snowflakes - I often look like this when we have been out with the fur babies - huddled in a blanket with a hot cup of cocoa.

Stamper's Delights sale is live until the 31st January so go check their website out!

Happy Birthday!

Good afternoon and Happy World Card Making Day! Yes I am spending time in my craftroom today to celebrate.

There are some amazing sales out there as well as some fab new releases including this one from Stamper's Delights. Meet Chibi A Gift For U Girl:

She is available as a digital stamp but also as a clear stamp collection.
I printed her with a pile of gifts and sentiment then colored with Copic markers.
An A2 card base was matted with coordinating cardstock and my image trimmed to fit. I decided to add more detail by cutting apposing corners off and adding coordinating enamel dots into these corners - who doesn't like a bit of bling on their birthday.

Head on over to the Stamper's Delights Store to see all of this week’s New Releases.

Growing Friendship

Good afternoon, hope your weekend is amazing! We are spending it quietly at home.

I'm back with another of this weekend's new releases from Stamper's Delights. Chibi Friendship Grows is a sweet little gardener:

I printed her, her flower and the included sentiment onto stamping card. She was colored with Copic markers and trimmed to size.
I cut the top front section off a 7x7in card base. Then matted the remaining bottom section and inside with pink card and patterned papers. I also matted the section I had removed and adhered this back at a 90 degree angle in the center of the bottom front of the card, giving me an upside down T for the card front.
My Chibi and sentiment were matted with pink card and arranged on the center panel. I fussy cut the little flower and used foam pads to attach it to my card.
Finally I colored some card candy to coordinated with papers and added this to either side of my image panel.

Chibi Unicorn fun

Good afternoon, I hope you are having a fun Easter weekend.

It's Day 3 of the Stamper's Delights new release and this one is another special one as they have made some more clear stamps. This time it's Chibi Unicorn Blythe:

Isn't she adorable - she has some sentiments included with her.

I just had to color her all girly!

I chose pink and blue Copic markers and carried the theme to her horn!
Once she was colored I fussy cut her with my Scan N Cut. I stamped 2 of the sentiments and colored the cardstock to match her outfit.
My A2 card base was matted with pink cardstock and blue gingham paper. I used glue gel to adhere her to my card base, shaping her to give dimension which is difficult to see in the photo. I added the sentiment and to finish the card I added some polymer clay flowers.

If you love this image head on over to the Stamper's Delights Store to see all of this week’s New Releases.

My Kind of Crazy

Good afternoon, I hope everyone is enjoying spring blooming around us. We have crocuses and daffodils peeking through and currently no snow!

As it's the first week of April (Yes really!!!!) it's new release weekend at Stamper's Delights and of course we have some super sweet images to share with you.

My first is My Kind of Crazy - she is for all you cat lovers:

Check out that adorable kitten hanging from her braid.
I colored her with Copic markers and fussy cut her using my Scan n Cut.
The sentiment was partly recolored and printed onto white cardstock.

For my card base I matted an A7 card blank with orange cardstock. I then added Brusho powders to a piece of cream card and spritzed with water, giving me a 'crazy' background which was adhered to my base. I used a piece of the orange cardstock and a piece of blue to make a ribbon effect across the card. I added both my image and sentiment with foam squares to my card. Finally I added a few blue glitter enamel dots.

If you love this image head on over to the Stamper's Delights Store to see all of this week’s New Releases.

It's A Girl!!!!

Good afternoon! The snow finally is shrinking back, hopefully spring is round the corner although with the weather here we probably aren't out of the woods yet!

It's the first new release day over at Stamper's Delights and we are some super cute images for you. Do you need a new baby or shower card? Then this image is perfect - Meet Chibi It's a Girl:

Isn't she sweet! She comes with the sentiments shown with the image and being a digital stamp is easy to resize.
I decided to print off a few of the images so I could decoupage them:

I colored the whole of the first image, the second one I colored the box lid and tag (which had one of the sentiments printed on it)  and the last image I just colored the box lid ribbon.
I fussy cut all of the colored parts and stacked them on top of each other in the corresponding areas
I mated a A7 card base with some pink card and a peach colored polkadot paper. Then die cut a heart bunting from the same card I used for my mat. The sentiment was die cut again with a mat. I added my image to the card and tucked in the sentiment. The bunting was added across one corner and the waste from this, the hearts were 'scattered' down to my sentiment.

If you love this image head on over to the Stamper's Delights Store to see all of this week’s New Releases.

Allie Cat

Good afternoon - We have finished our first week on virtual school, we had some hiccups but getting there! Today is a holiday as it Monday and a break is needed!

There is a new release over at Stamper's Delights and it is a cute one, we are getting ready for Halloween so meet Chibi Allie Cat:

Isn't she the cutest!!! I colored her with Copic Markers and die cut her into a circle. I cut a slightly larger black circle and matted her on to this.
I made a 7x5 in black card base, the pink spiderweb was actually saved from a bouquet of flowers I received. I cut a piece big enough to mat my card. Allie was then added.
I changed the color of the inclusive sentiment with my graphics program, matted it with black card and added it to my design.

You can purchase Allie over in the Stamper's Delights online store.

Live Love Laugh

Good afternoon! wow despite being stuck at home time is flying I can't believe it is already August! We are still waiting to hear what is happening with school, it is due to reopen the last week of August but unsure what that will look like

I'm excited to share with you today's new Chibi release from Stamper's Delight and boy is this a cutie:

Meet Chibi Live Love Laugh is is adorable. I started by resizing her and coloring her with my alcohol markers I then fussy cut her and placed to one side while working on my card base.
I matted a 5x7in card base with dark blue cardstock. I then chose some printed paper that fit well with the colors I had used for my image. I also felt the lavender when well with the energy of the sentiments. I arranged my sentiments in my graphics program and then ran the printed paper through the printer ensuring that I would be able to trim it with the design I wanted.
This was then matted onto my card base and my Chibi was adhered in place. I loved the simplicity and didn't feel any other embellishments where needed.

This little sweetie can be found in the Stamper's Delights Store.

Growing Friendship

Good afternoon! It's hot hot hot here, Holiday weekend and its going to be in mid 90s. I struggle in the heat so staying tucked up inside with cool air on suits me well.

We've had a shuffle around over at Stamper's Delights and as well as showing the gorgeous Kawaii images I now get the chance to play with the super cute Chibis ones too and today is the Chibis new release so I got to play with Chibi Friendship Grows:

What I Did:
I started by making my design paper, I used one of the images from the set, resized it and copied it multiple times so that I had a random flower pattern. I then printed this and colored the flowers. I resized the Chibi image and sentiment and printed these onto stamping card. She was then colored using alcohol markers, her boots are plain but they just needed to have a matching flowery pattern. I fussy cut her out and put to one side.
I made my 7x5in card base and matted this with pink cardstock and the flowery patterned paper. My sentiment was matted onto the same pink cardstock and both this and my image were arranged and adhered to the card using foam squares.
Lastly I added some yellow nuvo drops to the paper both for texture and to tie the yellow color from the flowers.

What I Used:
Digital Stamps for design paper, Image and Sentiment: Stamper's Delights - Chibi Friendship Grows
Stamping Card: X-Press It
Alcohol Markers: Copic
White Card Base: Core'Dinations Premium Heavyweight
Pink Cardstock: Core'Dinations Premium
Nuvo drop: Tonic - English Mustard
