Batch colouring

Ok so I had taken today off to attend an appointment this afternoon, planned my day lots of opportunity to craft! BUT we got up to find the white stuff had finally descended on us, Hubby set off for work but was back within 15 minutes, the roads were impassable.School and nursery were both closed - my plans of a quiet morning crafting went out of the window - or so I thought!

Mollie didn't wake until 9.30am so plenty of time for me to plan!

I had done some colouring last night with some new Sugar Nellie Digi's and my Spectrum Noirs so out came my ebosser and core-dinations card, I cut tags and frames using my spellbinders by which time our little darling was awake so things got moved to one side.

After my appointment Mollie wanted to play upstairs, James was engrossed in his music so I took the opportunity to finish my designs see below:
The first little lady is Alicia, as you can see she is adorable both as a blonde and a brunette. I have used Craftsyle papers with her brunette version and some flowers from my stash.

The blonde's  papers are some free ones that came with a magazine

Next is Suzie with her gorgeous ringlets, I have used Lili of the Valley Nitwit papers and punched the edges with a border punch.

Now we have Rachel as lovely little redhead papers again are from Lili of the Valley Nitwit collections....
Here she is as a sweet little blonde with purple beads in her hair

Last but not least is Sophia a little hippy chick with daisy's in her hair. Again the papers are from Lili of the Valley It is a gorgeous collection with some sweet floral ditsy designs.

My favourite has to be Brunette Alicia but shushhh don't tell the others!!

Get Well Wishes

A very good friend of mine has taken ill and been admitted to hospital for tests to try and ascertain the cause of her illness.

I made the card below to take with us today when we visited.

The image, Little Nurse, and sentiment are from my favourite stamp company, Lili of the Valley. I have coloured it with my Spectrum Noir pens and mounted it on co-ordinations card. The backing paper is from a large selection I bought from Payper Box at the NEC in November. It just matched perfectly with the blue mat layer. I have used some Wild Orchid roses and blue pearls from my stash for the finishing touches - the flowers nearly didn't stay in place as Mollie decided she would like them!

My friend loved the card and I hope it went some way to make her feel better at this worrying time.
