Roaring about with Leo

Good Morning, Weather has cooled slight which is making being outside more bearable. It was Mollie's birthday this week and we celebrated the day at the beach, she is also celebrating with her friends on Sunday with a pool party.

It's new release over at Scrapper's Delights and as always there are some great VIP deals going on. If you purchase the 3 new releases you get this month's zodiac images free, which is the only way she is available.
Meet Leo:

Isn't she the cutest, she is actually a full figure but I took advantage of one of the frames that comes with her and cropped her to fit in it. That is one of the great advantages of digital stamps - you can resize or crop as you wish!
She was colored with Copic markers and I used a gold gel pen for the bell on her collar and the frame. The sentiment is from the same collection and was resized to fit may card. I added some gold gems to balance the design.

There are a ton of extras with this image and she comes in both Jpeg and PNG formats as so the new release images:

Head on over to the Scrapper's Delights Store to see all of the new releases.

High Tea Sneak Peek and Giveaway!

Good morning, we are still bathed in sunshine but the humidity has been unbearable so I am spending most of the time indoors!

I'm here today with a sneak peek of a collection that is to be released on 19th July and it is perfect for me!
I am a tea lover and this chintzy very English set could have come across the Atlantic with us!

There are lots of components to the kit but today I just used the papers and stamp set.

I positioned the teapot and roses on my Tim Holtz stamp platform (which incidentally is on offer over at SumMore Fun) and inked them with memento ink. This image was then colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.
I then used 2 of the papers to mat and layer my 6x6 inch card base. The image on the bottom right corner is printed on the papers!!! A third paper was then cut into a border and added across the center of my card.
Using Versamark ink I inked the sentiment and then white embossed it. A white doily was then added to keep with the paper theme.
I added an action wobbler to my teapot and adhered this to the center of the doily. I have used this technique in a previous card - it allows the teapot to tip:

As well as a sneak peek I have a full kit of the High Tea to giveaway to one person who comments on this blog post.
The giveaway will be open until Saturday 20th July so if you like what you see please leave me a comment, you never know you could be the winner!

Thanks for stopping by, my teamies will be sharing their sneak peeks this week and the full kit will be revealed on the 19th July!

Some friends are one of a kind

Good Morning, the heat continues, the pool in the back yard is getting lots of use, from Mollie playing in it with her friends to us cooling off after work outs or just sitting in it to beat the heat.

My card today is a 'just because'  for a good friend. I don't have many friends but cherish the ones I do so when I'm trying out new stamps I love to send them to people who mean the most to me.

This card used the Snap dragon flower stamps from Altenew:

I stamped the image using Altenew inks, I love these layering stamps they are so quick to use and the effect they leave is amazing. Once I had stamped all the layers of the flower I then used a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called Say it all friend. It has some great sentiments that say just what you need! The sentiment was stamped using Versafine ink as this leaves a really good crisp image for small sentiments.
I matted a 5x7 inch card base with black card and added my image topper. I didn't want anything to distract from the image and words so nothing else was added. I posted the card so am waiting to post this post for when I know it has been received.

Thanks for stopping by and if you like what you see please let me know in the comments.

Who Needs School

Good Afternoon, we have just celebrated the 4th July. Lots of food and fireworks! It is hot hot hot but the humidity is up there too so not nice to be outside through the day!

So good time to be inside coloring and with this week's Chibi new release from Scrapper's Delights there is so much to color!

I have used Graffiti Gill and made a scene with the great wall that is included along with some of the fab graffiti:

These are fab images for teenager cards. I colored the whole image with Copic markers and added Staedtler pens for detail. I then matted an 8x8 inch black card with lime green. I added some of the graffiti words to a piece of florescent orange card and added this to my base. I matted my image with the same lime green card and added this to my card base. Simple card as the image didn't need anything else.
