It's your month Aries

Good afternoon. Tomorrow we fly to the UK and I am so looking forward to spending time with my family and friends. I'm busy making sure I have all my blog posts covered as well as getting stuff together to pack.

Todays post is the VIP release from Scrapper's Delights and its the next zodiac sign which started on 21st of March.
Let me introduce you to Miss Aries:

Isn't she so pretty,  she is a complete kit of a ton of extra embellishments that all relate to her sign.
I have incorporated 5 separate png images in my card using a graphics program to resize and bring them all together. I colored my card with alcohol markers and colored pencils. A white 5x7in card base was matted with purple card before adding my card front. The only other thing I have added is sparkle pen to the stars which doesn't show up well in the photo.

The Scrapper's Delights VIP deals includes 3 teen Anime each month with bonus images, this month Aries, that you can only get by taking advantage of the offer.
The teen images are so cute too:

Head on over to the store for more details.

Foxy Birthday

Good afternoon from a very sunny Michigan. Yes we have had a turn about in the weather and it is gorgeous out. Most of the snow (that hasn't been piled high) has melted and it's a pleasure to be outside.

SumMore Fun are having a new release this week - all will be revealed on Friday but for now I have a sneak peek at a couple of the stamps:

Isn't this little fox the cutest and I made a CAS card to showcase how adorable he is. I stamped him with memento ink and colored him with alcohol markers.
The sentiment is also from the same stamp set there are a number of sentiments, I always find it useful to have matching sayings makes the putting together a design so simple.

Mt teamies will be showcasing other stamps from this set over the week on the SumMore Fun Blog  and the on Friday will be the full reveal so keep watch!

Thanks for stopping by and as always if you are looking for more inspiration check out my teamies creations on the BlogFaceBookInstagram and Pinterest.

Spring Primroses

Good morning, We have finally got some nice spring weather. despite the snow and floods last week the sun is shining and the birds are starting to sing!

Today I am sharing with you a design for a challenge blog that I am now designing for. Jo's Scrap Shack runs a weekly sponsored challenge and this is my first inspiration post for them.

The sponsor this week is Imagine That Digital Stamps and if you are lucky to win you will receive a $12 coupon to their store.

My card is using their Primrose Set. It comes with both a colored and outline version. There are also 3 sentiments that fit in the banners on the image but I chose to use these in a different way:

I printed out the outline image, cut this out on my Scan 'n' cut and colored with alcohol markers and colored pencils.
I then used my graphics program to resize the primroses and fade them. I added 2 of the sentiment - Mother's Day and Primrose to make a digitally designed backing paper.
I matted this on yellow and green card to pull the colors from the colored image.
I used a white 5x7 inch card base and added a few enamel dots to complete the card.

Birthday Balloons

Good Morning! I have exciting news, I have rejoined the fantastic design team which showcases Scrapper's Delights digital stamps and today is a new release of some super cute Chibis. Just look at the super deals you can get if you purchase them from the store:

The image I am sharing with you is Chibis Balloons:

I colored him with my alcohol markers before die cutting the image into a circle.
I matted an 8 x 8 inch card base with red card and some water color effect design paper. I then die cut a large circle from the same red card. This was adhered to my card along with my little Chibis. I then cut a "knot" to make my red circle into a balloon a glued some string around this and draped it off my card. I added some shine to my balloon with a white gel pen and finished off by curving Happy Birthday die cuts around my image

If you want more inspiration and to see what my teamies have created with the other images check us out on the Scrappers Delights blog and the  Fan Facebook page

It's a House Mouse kind of Birthday

Good Morning, We still have snow on the ground but I'm kind of getting used to it now!

My card today is my first card for the Papercraft Business Challenge design team. I was on this team a while ago but life kind of got in the way and I had to step down but Lisa's has happily let me rejoin them.
They run a monthly challenge with some fab prizes, this month you can win this MFT die set:

The theme of the challenge is anything goes with an optional theme of animals - show us your critter makes and you get an extra entry in the draw!

My card is using the Cute House Mouse designs:

All  the elements are from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse collection. I love these little mice and there are so many of them in print and stamp version.
I printed them out onto white card, added some pink and green card for layering and matched up some coordinating ribbon.
The spring colors make me hopeful that the snow will soon be gone!

Now it’s your turn head on over to the Papercraft Business challenge blog to enter. What are you going to share with us so that you have the chance of winning the prize? Remember, if you would like TWO chances at winning the prize, you need to create a project using this months challenge theme: Animals.
Please be sure to check out our challenge rules & guidelines to ensure you have the best chance possible to win. Remember, you can only submit up to 3 projects otherwise you won’t win the prize!
