Baby Boy

Good evening
I've been working on a lovely little baby boy card for a colleague of my Hubby's.

I've chosen another couple of gorgeous Lili of the Valley stamps and coloured them with my spectrum Noirs. Giraffe's are a favourite of mine so I had to have these stamps.

The paper's are again from Lili of the Valley - the Bear Necessity nitwit collection and I've matted them onto Core-dinations card stock.
The buttons are from my stash and the card blank is from Craftwork Cards.

Thanks for stopping by and your comments are always welcome xx

Twins are twice the fun

Good afternoon!
Here's a card for new twins one of each flavour!

Please excuse the photo it was taken in a rush before being whisked off to it's new owner.

The stamp is a delightful one from Lili of the Valley coloured in with my spectrum noirs of course. Papers are from the Lili of the Valley Nitwit collections and I've used my spellbinders to cut the twins out

The card is held closed with ribbon and I've used blue and pink for this, it opens from the left when you untie the bow and the sentiment is hidden by the front panel followed by a verse inside the card. Both printed on my computer and cut out with my dies. This is one of my favourite card designs and the scollaped edge card blanks from Craftwork Cards are just right for it.

I am entering this card into:

Thanks for stopping by x

Wedding invitations

I was asked to make invitations for my brother's step daughter's up and coming wedding.

After chatting with her she knew exactly what she wanted so I didn't have to plan out samples for her to view, her design was very simple and classical.

Her colour scheme is a lovely sage green and white so I matched ribbon to this, I used plain white card and printed the text in silver using my silhouette machine. The bows were all made using the bow maker on my Ulimate Pro - I couldn't hand tie 50 perfect bows!!

There were 2 boxes one of the wedding invitations and one with evening invitations in:

These were made out of centura pearl card, decorated with the same ribbon and stamped with silver ink using stampin up stamps.

As usual I forgot to take pictures of them before sending to the bride but she has obliged and photographed them for me.

Froggin Molly

Good morning all hope you are having a good Sunday.

This is unknown territory for me 2 blog posts in as many days - but I just love colouring the Digi-stamps from Lacy Sunshine.

Of course I had to purchase this one - Froggin Molly - just like my Mollie! I've done her colouring as near to my Mollie as possible, wouldn't be able to get her hair to stand up like this though - it's just too fine!

Again I've used my Spectrum Noirs to colour her and the delightful little frogs, I've even tried to place a shadow in the net of the frog but not sure it shows up in the photo. the papers are from Lili of the Valley -  another favourite of mine and are matted onto core-dinations card. A bit of card candi from Craftwork cards (Do you know they've opened an outlet store in Leeds!!!!) just adds the finishing touch.

I will also be entering this into the Lacy Sunshine blog challenge  pastel colours are another favourite of mine!!!

The girl with octopus hair!

Say hi to Maggie or as Mollie refers to her the girl with octopus hair and wearing her mummy's hat and dress..............but it's naughty to steal other peoples clothes so she's got some flowers to say sorry!
The things kids come out with!
Anyway back to the card as I said this is Maggie - Springtime girl! One of Heather Valetine's wonderful digi-stamps.

using my Spectrum Noirs I've coloured her in my favourite colours.

I've used Crafter's companion embossalicious folder on some core-dinations card to frame her with some spellbinder die-lites for edges - the purple card looks a lot darker than it is in real life!

The backing papers, ribbon and buttons are from my stash and the gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid

The reason for doing this card is to enter into the lacy Sunshine blog challenge which you can find here: http://lacysunshinechallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/ and hopefully get a certain design team lady to stop nagging me!

Batch colouring

Ok so I had taken today off to attend an appointment this afternoon, planned my day lots of opportunity to craft! BUT we got up to find the white stuff had finally descended on us, Hubby set off for work but was back within 15 minutes, the roads were impassable.School and nursery were both closed - my plans of a quiet morning crafting went out of the window - or so I thought!

Mollie didn't wake until 9.30am so plenty of time for me to plan!

I had done some colouring last night with some new Sugar Nellie Digi's and my Spectrum Noirs so out came my ebosser and core-dinations card, I cut tags and frames using my spellbinders by which time our little darling was awake so things got moved to one side.

After my appointment Mollie wanted to play upstairs, James was engrossed in his music so I took the opportunity to finish my designs see below:
The first little lady is Alicia, as you can see she is adorable both as a blonde and a brunette. I have used Craftsyle papers with her brunette version and some flowers from my stash.

The blonde's  papers are some free ones that came with a magazine

Next is Suzie with her gorgeous ringlets, I have used Lili of the Valley Nitwit papers and punched the edges with a border punch.

Now we have Rachel as lovely little redhead papers again are from Lili of the Valley Nitwit collections....
Here she is as a sweet little blonde with purple beads in her hair

Last but not least is Sophia a little hippy chick with daisy's in her hair. Again the papers are from Lili of the Valley It is a gorgeous collection with some sweet floral ditsy designs.

My favourite has to be Brunette Alicia but shushhh don't tell the others!!

Get Well Wishes

A very good friend of mine has taken ill and been admitted to hospital for tests to try and ascertain the cause of her illness.

I made the card below to take with us today when we visited.

The image, Little Nurse, and sentiment are from my favourite stamp company, Lili of the Valley. I have coloured it with my Spectrum Noir pens and mounted it on co-ordinations card. The backing paper is from a large selection I bought from Payper Box at the NEC in November. It just matched perfectly with the blue mat layer. I have used some Wild Orchid roses and blue pearls from my stash for the finishing touches - the flowers nearly didn't stay in place as Mollie decided she would like them!

My friend loved the card and I hope it went some way to make her feel better at this worrying time.
