Cherry Blossoms and Lilacs

Good Morning, today I am sharing my 2nd guest designer spot for Inspired by Stamping and today I am using the gorgeous Cherry Blossom Stamp set on 2 cards. I have also used papers and ribbon from the store

My first card focuses on the main image from the set - the gorgeous cherry blossoms

I first matted my white card base with green and white card I used design paper from the Spring Lilacs Pad wrapping lilac vellum and Crochet Tape around the lower before adhering to the card base.

I stamped the flowers onto lilac vellum using embossing ink and heat embossed with white powder.

then colored the flowers using pencil to deepen the purple coloring. I stamped 2 of the image and cut them out I fussy cut the larger flower from the second spray, shaped this and adhered it to the top of the others lifting the petals to give dimension.
I then stamped a sentiment from the Cherry Blossom stamp set on to the strip of vellum. A few tonal pearls just balanced the card

My second card was made from the same Spring Lilacs papers and Cherry Blossom Stamp set

I made my main focus the sentiment on this card

After die cutting one of the stunning Spring Lilac papers I matted cream card base with purple card and the paper - wrapping Crochet tape around the center.
I then stamped my sentiment onto the same cream card as my base and using Fancy Labels 3 die set I cut the larger shape from purple card and my sentiment with the circle die

I added a few pearl accents and a simple to make card turned into an elegant design.

Inspired By Stamping guest design team!

Good morning can you believe that we are half way through February where is the time going?

Yesterday was Valentine's Day when we profess our love to the ones we love. I believe that you shouldn't wait until one day you should share your love all year round so the card I am about to show you isn't a Valentine's Day card it's a 'just because' card.

I used the stamp set Paris Love as my main focus on the card.

I used white card stock to make my 8x6 inch card base, I then stamped the couple image using memento ink onto Neenah card stock and colored with Copic Markers. I added Polychromo pencil over this for more shading and definition.

I then used the same ink and cardstock for the Eiffel Tower I added yellow pencil over the stamped image and blended this out using Gamasol and a blending stump.

Both images were lined up and adhered to my base card.

I then chose papers from the Spring Lilacs paper pad and matted these onto some pink card stock which was slightly smaller than my base card. Using Fancy labels 3 dies  I cut apertures for my images to sit inside. I then placed some pink and lace ribbon along the lower edge of this before fixing it in place on my base card with foam tape.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Paris Love set onto white card and die cut this into a circle. I used a circle cutter to cut a slightly larger circle of the pink card to mat the sentiment.

This was then adhered with foam tape. I made a chocolate box bow and accented this with a pearl embellishment and added further pearls to my sentiment to balance my design.

I am here today with some inspiration for the super cute images over at Scrapper's Delights.

I just had to brighten her up and used yellow to color her bunny suit. I colored her with Copic Markers and typed the sentiment along side her to explain why she looks so sad!
My white card base was matted in yellow card and some spring colored design paper. I matted baby Boo with the same yellow card and added a die cut bunny to embellish the card.

Little boxes.....

Happy Saturday? What has everyone got planned? I'm having a lazy morning then heading off to my best friend's for her eldest daughter's birthday party!

As you've seen from previous posts I have started planning Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day and Easter.
So the fun part of Easter - Eggs!!!! yes little chocolate ones that taste so yummy! Today I am showcasing some more of Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps new releases in the form of a cute little bag to put your chocolate goodies in:

Isn't it cute! I used a template to cut the bag from a muted yellow floral paper. I then stamped the Ducks in a Row Stamp twice, colored these with alcohol markers and matted with bright green card. Whilst the bag was still flat I used the Happy Easter Stamp from the Easter/Spring Banners Stamp Set to stamp the sentiment on both sides of the bag. I then made the bag up and added a punched border around the top edge. My Ducks in a Row were added to both side and it was filled with brightly colored Easter Eggs!

Happy (Hoppy) Spring

Good afternoon I'm back with my 2nd card for the Prickley Pear inspiration Thursday

Even though we are under a blanket of snow spring is just around the corner (hopefully!) so I have used some cute bunnies on this card:

I started by building my background. I die cut some clouds from post-it notes and arranged them on my card for masks. I then stamped Jumping Bunny and Left Bunny and masked these off too. I inked the top of my card with blue ink, graduated this into a light green and then a darker green as I reached the bottom. I then removed all my masks and colored my bunnies with alcohol markers also adding blades of grass.
I matted my card base with green card and then adhered my topper. I used the Happy Spring sentiment from the Easter/Spring Banner Stamp set just to finish the design.

Thank you for stopping by, you can find more inspiration from me and my teamies on the Prickley Pear blog and their Facebook page.

My True Love

Good morning - the week's almost over and it's February already!

It's Thursday which means it's Inspiration day over on the Prickley Pear blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you today.

The first one is a Valentine's Card using the stunning Large Swirl Heart:

I die cut a large heart and stamped the image into the center with red ink - I did re-stamp it 3 times to get the rich red color and as you can see despite this it hasn't lost any of it's fine swirl detail.

I matted my white card base with red card and a heart design paper. The white heart was placed on the card to position the My True Love wording. Once I had stamped my sentiment I adhered by white heart in place using foam tape.

Thank you for stopping by, you can find more inspiration from me and my teamies on the Prickley Pear blog and their Facebook page.

Always be Kind

Good morning! Busy day for me today so starting early

My post today is the second card I made for the Riley and Company Card Bonanza blog post

I have used Riley and he's all in Birthday mode:

I colored Birthday Cake Riley with my alcohol markers - I tried a different color combo on him today I thought the lighter color would give the look of reflected candle light. Once colored I stamped the Being Kind sentiment using an ombre set of inks. I love this brush script and think we should bring more stamps using it. I then matted a yellow spotty card base with green and added my image. A few yellow nuvo drops just completed the CAS card.

Thank you for stopping by, for more inspiration check out the Riley and Company Blog. Or for more news about what the Moose and his pals are up to head on over to the company Facebook page
