Good afternoon, Here's my second inspiration for the new stamp launch at Stamper's Delights. Yes if you didn't hear they are launching physical stamps that are amazing. Meet the Kawaii Pencil Pals:

What I Did:
The 2 characters , their scribbles, the sentiment and large pencil were all stamped on to stamping card. I then colored them with alcohol markers. Don't they just make the cutest twins?
I matted my 5x7in card base with blue card and added my images - Simple card but I don't think it needed anything else!

What I Used:
Stamps: Stamper's Delights: Pencil Pals
Stamping Card: X-Press It
Alcohol Markers: Copics
Card Base: Core'Dinations Premium Heavy Weight white card.
Blue Cardstock: Core'Dinations

Back to School

Good morning! 1 more week and it's back to school here, I might get some more time for crafting then!

There's a new mood board challenge started over at SumMore Fun and it's perfect for back to school so that's the theme I have followed or this card:

I made my 'chalk board' by stamping Victorine Original's Map Background onto black card in white ink. I then added this to the center of a white card blank matted with beige card. I then hand cut a frame to fit over this and adhered it to my card using foam squares adding lines with a pen in each corner to give the look of a frame joint.

I chose to use the Back to School Digital Stamps that are free for news letter subscribers this week. I used a graphics program to color the crayons and apple and resize all of the images. I colored the pencil, scissors and rule with alcohol markers. The sentiment was cut and framed like the map. I used a small brad and some twine on this to make a picture. I then added the Back to School elements using foam squares.

So want to join our challenge and get the chance to win a $20 gift certificate to SumMore Fun

Cherry Blossoms and Lilacs

Good Morning, today I am sharing my 2nd guest designer spot for Inspired by Stamping and today I am using the gorgeous Cherry Blossom Stamp set on 2 cards. I have also used papers and ribbon from the store

My first card focuses on the main image from the set - the gorgeous cherry blossoms

I first matted my white card base with green and white card I used design paper from the Spring Lilacs Pad wrapping lilac vellum and Crochet Tape around the lower before adhering to the card base.

I stamped the flowers onto lilac vellum using embossing ink and heat embossed with white powder.

then colored the flowers using pencil to deepen the purple coloring. I stamped 2 of the image and cut them out I fussy cut the larger flower from the second spray, shaped this and adhered it to the top of the others lifting the petals to give dimension.
I then stamped a sentiment from the Cherry Blossom stamp set on to the strip of vellum. A few tonal pearls just balanced the card

My second card was made from the same Spring Lilacs papers and Cherry Blossom Stamp set

I made my main focus the sentiment on this card

After die cutting one of the stunning Spring Lilac papers I matted cream card base with purple card and the paper - wrapping Crochet tape around the center.
I then stamped my sentiment onto the same cream card as my base and using Fancy Labels 3 die set I cut the larger shape from purple card and my sentiment with the circle die

I added a few pearl accents and a simple to make card turned into an elegant design.

The IBS store has some gorgeous stamp sets, paper and embellishments that all coordinate making it easy to choose supplies for your card designs. I hope you have liked what I have done with just a small collection.
