Is that Spring I can See?

Good afternoon is that spring that's around the corner? We've woken to snow the last few days but it's not hung around thank goodness!

Have you seen this month's Stamper's Delights club Images? Meet Chibi Fairy Under a Leaf if you have.

I started my card by printing off the image at a size to fit an A7 card base. She was colored with Copic Markers and trimmed to size.
I used some spring colored pattern paper to mat my card base and a sentiment stamp that seem to fit as she's not smiling!!
Her hair was amazing to color - Loys of ringlets - Wish my hair was more like this although not green lol.

Gnome in a Box Garden

Hello, I've been a bit quiet on here but have still been crafting in the background. We are suppose to have a snow storm today so I'm catching up with things while keeping warm.

My post this morning is to showcase this super cute box card:

I made it using a Silhouette Design Store cutting file. The card stock I used is Pop Tone from Cutcardstock. This card is extremely affordable and comes in a rainbow of colors. These are the ones I used today:

After cutting all the pieces the box was easy to construct only needing TomBow Mono Glue to add the decorations and glue it together. Score lines are added by the cutting machine which makes it easy fold.

Oh and once the glue is dried the card folds flat so it will fit in a 5x7in envelope.

It then just pops back up again once you let go! The depth gives it stability to stand on its own and separates the layers enough to make it have a 3D feel.

Hope this has given you inspiration for your own paper crafting!

Some Bunny

Happy Saturday everyone! Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

I'm back with some more inspiration for the Stamper's Delights new release. The image today is called Some Bunny and isn't she the cutest!

I started the card by printing my image and sentiment on to stamping card. I colored her with Copic markers and die cut using a shabby edged die.
My A2 card base was matted with some neon green cardstock to match her dress and my image was adhered to this with foam tape to give some dimension to the card. A simple card but so spring like!

Spring and Birthdays

Good morning! Spring is almost upon us, the bulbs in the garden are starting to sprout and I'm hoping we are done with the snow, you can never tell in Michigan!

Challenge 10 starts today over at Jan Mahew Digital Stamp Challenge and this is the last one I will be joining as a guest design team member. I have enjoyed working with the images but I ave some exciting new coming up so watch this space!

As the lovely Jan provided me with a few sets this month I have made 2 cards for this challenge.
The first one is using Early Spring Nest, a gorgeous floral set:

What I Did:
As always the images come colored or as line art, for this card I resized the line and added one of the sentiments that are included. It was then printed on stamping card. I colored the image with alcohol markers. I matted a 7x5in white card base with purple card to coordinate with the colors in my image and then added my colored design. As the nest was quite detailed I didn't want to add too much to the card so a few enamel dots just helped to pull the purple from the mat and the image.

My next card is using the super cute Birthday Buddies:

What I Did:
This stamp set also come with pre-colored and Line art images so I decided to use a pre-colored one. I resized the buddies and added the birthday cake to my composition. The sentiment was also in the set and I positioned this so it fir within the design. I then printed this onto stamping card using high quality so I didn't lose any for the colored definition. I did color around the image with warm grey alcohol markers to ground it.
I matted a 7x5in card base with blue card and added my design. A few sparkly glitter dots finished the card - who doesn't love glitter on their birthday!

Stamping Card: X-press It

White Card Base: Core'Dinations Premium Cardstock

We have 2 sets being released today. The first is a great set for all your Easter makes. Meet Bunny Love:

What I Did:
Bunny Love:
Using my graphics program I arranged the main character and a bunny gang and printed them onto stamping card. I did add the sentiment to this but changed my mind later.
The images were colored with alcohol markers and you can see this on my You Tube channel.
I used an 8x8in card base and matted this with blue card and a green Easter digital design paper. I then matted my image and a cute floral design paper with the same blue card and arranged these on my base.
My sentiment was recolored before printing, matting and placing in the center of my card using foam dots.

The second digital stamp set is continuing the Zodiac theme: Aries

What I Did:
Aries
This little guy was resized and printed on to stamping card. After I had colored him with alcohol markers I cut him out using my scan n cut, I also added a mat to him but increasing his size on the scan n cut and cutting it out in green cardstock.
I matted my card with the same green cardstock, I then printed the Aries multiple times on some design paper and added this to my card base.
Stars were die cut from the green card and arranged over the card before adding my image raised on foam tape.

Cherry Blossoms and Lilacs

Good Morning, today I am sharing my 2nd guest designer spot for Inspired by Stamping and today I am using the gorgeous Cherry Blossom Stamp set on 2 cards. I have also used papers and ribbon from the store

My first card focuses on the main image from the set - the gorgeous cherry blossoms

I first matted my white card base with green and white card I used design paper from the Spring Lilacs Pad wrapping lilac vellum and Crochet Tape around the lower before adhering to the card base.

I stamped the flowers onto lilac vellum using embossing ink and heat embossed with white powder.

then colored the flowers using pencil to deepen the purple coloring. I stamped 2 of the image and cut them out I fussy cut the larger flower from the second spray, shaped this and adhered it to the top of the others lifting the petals to give dimension.
I then stamped a sentiment from the Cherry Blossom stamp set on to the strip of vellum. A few tonal pearls just balanced the card

My second card was made from the same Spring Lilacs papers and Cherry Blossom Stamp set

I made my main focus the sentiment on this card

After die cutting one of the stunning Spring Lilac papers I matted cream card base with purple card and the paper - wrapping Crochet tape around the center.
I then stamped my sentiment onto the same cream card as my base and using Fancy Labels 3 die set I cut the larger shape from purple card and my sentiment with the circle die

I added a few pearl accents and a simple to make card turned into an elegant design.

The IBS store has some gorgeous stamp sets, paper and embellishments that all coordinate making it easy to choose supplies for your card designs. I hope you have liked what I have done with just a small collection.
