On to my design team make:

The focal image is Snowflake reindeer Silhouette from Bugaboo Stamps I have printed him out onto digital paper and fussy cut it before placing him on some snowflake paper from my stash. I have then matted onto a deeper blue card and used the same card for the snowflakes which are cut using a Cheery Lynn border die. I have then sprayed them with iridescent spray and sparkle. The sentiment is a Die'sire Sentimentals from the Christmas Jingle Bells collections

First Christmas card!!! - I'm sure there will be many more!

More Exciting News!!!

I have been chosen to join Nikky Hall from PolkaDoodles and her team over at Digi Choosday as part of their design team!!! I get to use all the lovely digi-stamps, images and sentiments on the Digi-world website and Nikky's PolkaDoodle CDs which are all available on the PolkaDoodles website

The first Challenge I'm designing for goes live now and you can enter on the blog here.
Each challenge has a new theme and this weeks is not a square card

As this is my first challenge I thought I would honor Nikky by using the Nikky digi-stamp bundle. The image - Nikky has been coloured with Spectrum Noirs with glossy accents used on her glasses. The card is a Silhouette template cut on my machine. The papers are from the bundle and the sentiment has been taken from the candy words section of Candy Doodles Collectors edition CD.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Crafting from the heart - Anything goes
My Craft Spot - Shaped Card
The Paper nest Dolls - Anything goes

Wedding Card

Good morning everyone
Today's the start of challenge 21 over at Scribble and Scrap. As always it's anything goes so why not pop by and enter. The rules are here and you could win yourself a £20 voucher to spend in the store.

On to my design card for the challenge

The image is a topper from Lili of the valley which I have cut using spellbinder dies and inked the edges.
The backing papers and flowers are made from the lovely vintage collection of papers over in the Scribble and Scrap Store. They have some beautiful papers, although it doesn't show too well in the photo these have a beautiful tonal lace effect and are also complimented with some plain colours for matting and layering. The flowers and leaves were cut from a memory box die and I've added pearls from my stash to finish them off.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you look should you choose to enter the challenge.

pop up box

I have been admiring pop up boxes shown on other people's blogs and Facebook for some time now so thought I would have a go and make one.

As I had been asked to do a card for a garden fan and I had these sweet little stamps from Little Claire I thought this was the perfect opportunity

I followed instructions for constructing the box on the project section of Joanna Sheen's website
I used some patterned card from my stash and some paper from Lili of the valley's Promises 8x8 paper pad. Once made I then stamped and coloured the bits to pop out using my spectrum Noir pens. The stamps were a club set last year but some parts are still available as dinkies. I then cut some foliage using various dies and added a die cut fence. I stamped a happy birthday sentiment onto another die-cut and glued this on front of the box. There is a matching blank one on the back for a greeting to be added.

Some exciting news

Good morning all, I will still be tucked up in my bed when this goes live however I have some fab news. I have joined the Crafty Girls design team. They do fortnightly challenges which start on a Thursday ad are always anything goes. They have some fab sponsors for all up coming challenges.

Welcome to my design card for Challenge 20 - the sponsor this time round is Eureka Stamps and you can win 5 digis.

This image is Knot heart. I have colored it with my spectrum noir pens and cut it out. I then embossed some black magic Core'dinations card with embossalicious ornate corner folder. This has then been sanded back to expose the pink core.
I have then matted it onto a purple scalloped card and added some gems both from my stash

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will come and join us in our challenge
xx

a male card for a change!

Good morning and welcome. Today is the start of challenge 20 over at Scribble and Scrap. Why don't you pop by and enter. As always it's anything goes and that means anything you have created - it doesn't have to be a card! You can find the rule for entry here, and if you do enter then good luck!

This is my design team card for the challenge:

The image is vegetable patch from Lili of the valley and I have coloured him with my spectrum noir pens and polychromo pencils. The papers are from Scribble and Scrap and are called Elegance set 1 I have only used 3 sheets out of the pack which is huge so great value. I've cut them and the image with a xcut die and matted them onto black card. The sentiment is an older one from Crafter's Companion. Just to finish I have added black card candi from Craft work cards to the corners.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you enjoyed my card
