Etched Daisy

Good morning, Hope it's not too hot where you are, thankfully it's cooled a bit here but not for long!
I'm over on the SumMore Fun today with the Oops a Daisy Raisin Boat stamp set. I have been having fun trying something different:

This is my first attempted at etching a glass. I stamped the image onto a piece of white card which I then taped inside a drinking glass.
Using a permanent marker I traced the stamped image onto the outside of the glass. I then used my rotary tool with a diamond tip to etch the flower onto the glass.

Once I had etched the whole image I used alcohol hand sanitizer to remove any pen marks left and washed the glass to ensure there were no glass fragments.
I did look a site when I was doing the etching. I wore a mask, gloves and safety glasses to ensure none of the glass dust got in my eyes and respiratory tract and gloves in case the glass broke - fortunately it survived!

Butterfly Love

Good morning, Sorry I've been a bit absent lately, life has just been getting in the way and my mojo had flown away but I think today's card may have brought it back.

The new moodboard challenge starts over at SumMore Fun today and the theme is so pretty, you can check it out at the bottom of my post 👇

Onto my card, I have used a Raisin Boat stamp set - Imagine:

I stamped the larger image in the set with 2 different shades of blue. Then the sentiment images were stamped on top of this. I inked the edges of my card to take away the stark white.

The butterflies were die cut using a blue pearlescent acetate, I lifted the wings and adhered them onto the card. I added some silver gems as trails from each individual butterfly.
My topper was matted onto some color coordinating card and a white card base.

Proud

Good morning, it's been a strange week with the 4th being mid week it's thrown all my days out.

Speaking of Independence Day the moodboard challenge over at SumMore Fun is all patriotic this time round.
So I have made a card using their Strokes of Pride stamp set which is a Raisin Boat set perfect for the challenge:

I stamped the stars using embossing ink onto shiny card and then embossed with clear powder. I then colored my card with blue ink, polishing it so the stars shone through.
next I used Stayzon ink to add the sentiments.
This was the matted with red card and added to a white card base, keeping to the red white and blue theme in the pictures of the moodboard.
