High Tea Sneak Peek and Giveaway!

Good morning, we are still bathed in sunshine but the humidity has been unbearable so I am spending most of the time indoors!

I'm here today with a sneak peek of a collection that is to be released on 19th July and it is perfect for me!
I am a tea lover and this chintzy very English set could have come across the Atlantic with us!

There are lots of components to the kit but today I just used the papers and stamp set.

I positioned the teapot and roses on my Tim Holtz stamp platform (which incidentally is on offer over at SumMore Fun) and inked them with memento ink. This image was then colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.
I then used 2 of the papers to mat and layer my 6x6 inch card base. The image on the bottom right corner is printed on the papers!!! A third paper was then cut into a border and added across the center of my card.
Using Versamark ink I inked the sentiment and then white embossed it. A white doily was then added to keep with the paper theme.
I added an action wobbler to my teapot and adhered this to the center of the doily. I have used this technique in a previous card - it allows the teapot to tip:

As well as a sneak peek I have a full kit of the High Tea to giveaway to one person who comments on this blog post.
The giveaway will be open until Saturday 20th July so if you like what you see please leave me a comment, you never know you could be the winner!

Thanks for stopping by, my teamies will be sharing their sneak peeks this week and the full kit will be revealed on the 19th July!

Little Yellow Teapot

Good morning,
We finally got some rain this week which means the lawns are all green again! August is finally here and we are on the count down to school starting again!

Over at SumMore Fun we have a new moodboard challenge starting and this one is all summery bright colors as well as great pictures see below for more details

First let me show you my design, I have chosen to use the colors from the mood board:

I have used the Victorine Originals Tea Pot stamp. and colored it in different shades of yellow and green markers. I matted my card with some matching colored card and a teacup patterned paper. I then added an action wobbler to my tea pot and adhered it to the center of my card, this means that I can tip my teapot up:

I then added the sentiments around this as well as a few yellow enamel dots.

Hello Spring

Good morning, we have had a number of signs that spring is here but the snow keeps making an appearance too so I'm hoping that if I keep with the spring theme in my craft room it will take the hint and disappear!

It's the first day of a new mood board challenge over at SumMore Fun and with Easter just around the corner out come the bunnies:

These adorable bunny butts and grasses are from the Spring is in the air stamp set I stamped 6 of them and cut them out on my Scan N Cut. I die cut a number of clouds onto masking paper and positioned these on my white stamping card. I then blended the card with blue and green ink. On removing the cloud masks I added a little more blue ink so the clouds weren't so stark white. Using the same green ink I stamped the grass from the same set along the bottom of the card overlapping and at different heights so it looked more natural. I then did the same with a darker green ink. I then adhered 4 of my bunny butts in place and stamped more of the grass over these giving the appearance of them hiding in the grass.
The remaining 2 bunnies were placed on action wobblers  and placed in between the others so when touched they wobble!

My card was then made up of a white card base, a green mat and my design. I stamped Hello Spring a sentiment again from the Spring is in the air stamp set.
