Love 15!

 Good afternoon. We have a lot of work going on this weekend, deck being stripped out and new one laid. Painting hall, stairs and landing. Front door also needs painting. We have a bunch of James's friends coming to help so I will be feeding everyone!

While all of this is going on it's the tennis finals at Wimbledon so my card today is has a tennis theme. Meet Anime Tennis Tess:

She is a digital image available from Stamper's Delights. 

I colored her with Copic markers and fussy cut her. I used some digital tennis themed design paper and sized it so it would fit an A2 card base. I used a top folding card base and matted it with pink cardstock. This coordinated with the pink trim on my image. I decided to print the sentiment that came with the image onto the tennis themed paper and added this to my card. My image was glued in place. I then colored the piece behind the racket to match the background so it looked part of the background.

Pumpkin pals!

 Good afternoon! How can it be the 1st of October? where is this year going - doesn't seem like 2 minutes we were breaking for summer!

Today's post is inspiration for Stamper's Delights Progressive challenge. This is a FB challenge where anyone can enter. The images are available free by signing up for the Stamper's Delights membership. You just then enter your completed design on the Stamper's Delights Facebook group, all rules can be found in the challenge post over there.

So on to my inspiration, this month's image is called Harvest Wishes which is this super cute Kawaii pumpkin:

Isn't it adorable? I arranged my images in a graphics program, added my sentiment and printed on to stamping card. 

This was then colored with Copic markers and cut to size. My A2 card base was matted with orange and black cardstock and my image added to this. I added some white gel pen to the lines of the pumpkin to give the illusion of shine.

Mer-May-Zing!

 Good afternoon and happy weekend. For my American friends Happy Mother's Day too! 

It's Chibi turn to release new stamps over at Stamper's Delights and I have a super cute design to share with you:

Meet Marina Mermaid, she is available as a clear stamp along with her little fish and some cute sentiments.

A digital collection is also available if you prefer that!

I colored Marina and her fishy friends in the colors of one of Mollie's favorite mermaids. I stamped the images onto masking paper and fussy cut these before laying over my colored images. I then used distress oxide inks to color my background.

My A2 card base was matted with teal and black cardstock and after removing the masking paper I added my image. 

Green and blue 'bubbles' were added . I inked another piece of card and stamped my sentiment onto this. Matting it with black card before adhering to my card.
