Catching a Floral Note

Good morning from a very cold Michigan, Valentine's Day is just a couple of days away so I thought I'd post some hearts and flowers. I stayed away from the typical reds and went with my favorite crafting colors - teal and purple.

I cross pollenated digital stamp set and used one of the stunning images from Floral Catcher and a sentiment from Just Butterflies:

I used Copic Markers to color the image but then added purple glaze to the heart and used a glitter Gelly Roll on the 'strings' of the catcher.

My card base was matted with teal cardstock and I added my image. To make in coordinate, I changed the color or my sentiment, fussy cut this on my Scan N Cut and added to my card with foam squares. I then added crystal glaze to make it shine. Finally I added a few clear drops.

These collections are part of the February new release - Blooming Is Life which has more gorgeous floral designs all available as digital images.

Thank you for stopping by. I will be back during the month with more inspiration from Joy Clair. Also my teamies will be sharing with you over on the Joy Clair Facebook Group.

You can check out the new release and all of Joy Clair's products over in their store.
