Cute little bunny

Today's blog post is a little bunny from Crafter's Companion BeBunni range. It's from the original CD.

I used some cream card to make the base card, punched the edges with a -cut punch before assembling the card. I'm quite liking this card design, I found it on you tube and think it will become a regular make for me.
The papers are digi ones and are from All Dressed up stamps.

I added a few gems from my stash but tried to keep it clean and simple to let the design show itself off.

It does have a happy birthday sentiment inside but I think it could be used for any celebration.

Scribble and Scrap Lemon and Lilac

Good Morning - I hope all my UK visitors remembered to put the clocks forward!

Today is the start of Challenge 15 over at the Scribble and Scrap Challenge blog. This is my design team card for the Anything Goes Always challenge

I have used the lemon and lilac digi papers from the Scribble and Scrap shop where you can find a lovely range of papers, digi stamps, toppers and sentiments.

The stamp is a Wee Stamps Digi called Silver fairy but I've made her colourful with my spectrum Noir Pens and although difficult to see on picture she has fairy dust sprinkled on her wings for a bit of sparkle and to help her fly of course!

The bow has been cut from the papers using a cutting file from a Creative Crafting World Cd and the card blank is from the same company.. The flowers are some of the many I have in my stash.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will take part in the Scribble and Scrap Challenge!

Sit back and relax

Hi and thanks for stopping by.

I am very pleased to have been voted blog of the week over at Crafting from the Heart Facebook page this week!

My card today is for one of my hubby's ex-colleagues who is retiring in the near future.

Once again I have used one of my Lili of the Valley boy stamps called Take it Easy - which is what you have earned when you retire!

I have colored him with my Spectrum Noir pens and used polychromo pencils for shading. The papers are Lili of the Valley Country Gent matted with some brown card from my stash.
I've embellished with some of Craftwork card's Card Candi and some decorative corners that I had in my stash. The sentiment is also a Lili of the valley one die cut with spellbinders.
I've used distress ink to give it an aged look but definitely need more practise doing this!

I have entered this card into the following Challenges

Exciting News

Hi
I have some exciting news! - I have been invited to join the Scribble and Scrap Challenge design team and have submitted my first card for the challenge starting today at 9am.
If you want to take part all the rules of how to enter can be found here - the theme is always anything goes so pop along and add your entry!

My card today is a lovely little butterfly catcher topper from Lili of the Valley.

The papers I have used are Scribble and Scrap Damask - soft naturals digi papers - they come in an array of colours which are all very demur. I have also used these to make the rosette which I have punched with an X-cut punch before folding. The matting card and gem are out of my stock and as always the card blank is from Craftwork Cards

I hope you like my debut effort

Fairy wings make you happy!

Good afternoon!
Kev is away on business this week and as we've only just moved and not really met anyone yet his colleagues are checking in on me to make sure I'm not needing anything. One in particular, Cindee came up to meet us on Tuesday evening. Mollie was her usual happy self and prancing around in a fairy outfit. When Cindee asked her if she was always happy and if so what did she need to do so that she could always be happy. Mollie replied saying her fairy wings kept her happy and Cindee would be happy if she touched them!

On the back of this I have made her a card from Mollie so she can keep fairy wings on her desk!

This adorable fairy is called Pompom and she along with the sentiment are from Lili of the Valley. She has been coloured in using my Spectrum Noirs and I've used polychromo pencils for extra shading and blending. There is just a touch of fairy dust (glitter) on her wings and pompoms.
The dies I've used are Marianne and memory box and I've used Core'dinations card stock for these and my background. The card blank is a craftwork cards blank.
All it needs is for Mollie to come home from preschool and sign it!

Monocromatic card

2nd blog post for this week, and many more to come!!!
Mollie started preschool today - she's going 2 days a week just so that she's mixing with children her own age. It also gives me some breathing space!

Today's card is an anniversary card using Crafters Companion Die'sire dies and Embossalicious embossing folders.

The verse was from verses4cards and just fit perfectly onto the center panel of the die cut. I've used Rose Garden embossing folder on the white layers you can just about make them out on the photo. The die cuts are cut with Romantic Song Frame, I've only used the larger of the dies and layered them up with collal glue gel.
My card blank (as always when not using pre-scored cards) was scored and folded using my Ultimate Pro. - some black ribbon and a gem from my stash just finish it off.

I'm entering this into my first challenge for a while
The Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge which is monochromatic this month.

Back up and running

Hi
I've not blogged for so long that I've struggled to remember how to do things!!
There has been a lot going on in my life which took president over my crafting but now I'm back.
We have recently moved to Michigan in the US which means I'm no longer working and can spend time looking after my lovely hubby, kids and gorgeous new house! I've also become mum to a little Shih zhu puppy who I love to bits and I think the feeling is mutual since he follows me everywhere - and I mean everywhere!!!

The new house means I now have my own craft room (instead of hijacking the dining room!) which my wonderful hubby has decked out with lots of cupboard space for all my crafty stash.

I have finally got round to using it to create the card below

I've used a craftwork cards scalloped edge card blank. The image is the Hydrangea stamp from Lili of the Valley coloured with Spectrum Noirs. I have also used their paper pad for the backing paper along with some lavender card from my stash. Both the sentiment and the image have been die cut with spellbinders.

This card is for our new bank manager who went above and beyond her role to ensure we got our mortgage.

Thank you for taking the time to look xxx
