Good morning, fall is in the air and the trees are starting to change color. This is my favorite time of the year I love the colors, the cooler weather and of course the pumpkin spice!
The SumMore Fun mood board challenge has all the colors of fall this time round, check out the mood board lower down my post.
For my card I have used the colors for my background. For the first time I have experimented with distress oxide inks and I think I like them!
I used Fossilized Amber, vintage phot and peeled paint and blended them across my card. Before I left it to dry I spritzed it with water.
Once dry I used the SumMore Fun Growing Love stamp set to stamp the branches in a random pattern across my card. I then die cut THANKS twice, gluing these on top of each other to give me dimension. I then stamped 'for helping me grow' from the same stamp set onto black card using embossing ink. This was then embossed with white glimmer powder. I matted my card base with deep red cardstock and added my design.
I glazed my thanks die cut with magic transparent Pearl Pen and added black pearls randomly around my card.

Stunning, striking card. Resisted the allure of the Distress Oxides so far but here them calling ...!

The background you've created looks great and works well with the simple greeting.
