Good morning!
Well I'm happy to say after our ice storms and inches of snow last week we have finally had a week on mainly sunshine!
Today starts the new Moodboard Challenge over at SumMore Fun and I love the color scheme for this one which you can see further down my post.
Here's how I have used the colors:
For the card I have used SumMore Fun's Flower Pot with Birdhouse. I colored the image with Markers and pencils sticking with the color theme but adding a pop of green for the leaves.
I decided to make a pocket card with a sentiment tag inside. I cut a 12x12inch piece of card in half and folded each half into 6x6inch card bases. I then cut a triangle from the front of both cards. Overlapping the backs I glued them together leaving 2 diagonal flaps.
The grey and pink papers were chosen to go with my color theme and because they had patterns that compliment each other.
I matted the inside back of the card and the outside of the 2 flaps then using tape adhered the bottoms of the flaps making a pocket out of them.
I used a circle die to cut out my image and a mat in the grey paper. These were then fixed in place in the middle of the card. A Happy Birthday sentiment from Curly Cute Stamp set by Raisin Boat.
The tag was made using a Happy Birthday sheet die cut and attached to the pink paper. I punched a hole out of the top center and added a ribbon to pull the tag out with.
