Valentine's Card 'Donut" have to be hard to make!

Good morning,  the weather here is being a bit hormonal (😂) We have had lots of snow, then rain and fog then it was snowing again last night!

I'm back with super cute card suitable for my teenager to give her friend.

Aren't these stamps and dies just the cutest! The design is so simple to make. I started with an A2 top folding cardbase and as always this was cut from Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock. I matted this with Razzleberry Pop-Tone Cardstock.

Using an Altenew Plate die and Pink Lemonade Pop-Tone Cardstock I die cut the lacy panel and adhered this to my base.

The cross-stitch frame is cut from Brown Bag Kraft CardStock 4 times this gives a chipboard effect. I did the same with the fastening at the top of the frame using Stardream Cardstock in Antique Gold Metallic.

My images were stamped using a combination of pink and tan colored inks on to Neenah Solar White Card. This was glued to the back of the frame.

The bow is also included in the set and is cut from Razzleberry Cardstock. This was then glued to the top of the hoop which was then adhered to my base.

Finally I added some flat back pearls to look as those it had sugar balls on.

Wavy Thank You

Good morning! I have been a little absent over the last few months but I'm back on a roll with posting.

My post today is showcasing a simple thank you card that is quick and easy to design making it a great card for batch making.

I used products from CutCardstock for the design also using some items from my stash.

It started its life as an A2 Classic Crest Cardbase, Covered with Stardream Metallic Lagoon Cardstock and a layer of Neenah Solar White Cardstock

The top layer was die cut with a Crafter's Companion Edgeable die giving me the floral wave and the negative Thank You cut in to it.

The base was then matted with Lagoon, followed by the Neenah Solar White with cut 2/8th in smaller than the last. Finally my Topper was adhered in place.

Using Diamond Press Flower Dies I diecut and layered a flower and added this to the card

Finally some color-coordinated gems were glued in place for added sparkle.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope my card has peaked your interest and given you inspiration!

Faery Ink Giveaway

Good afternoon - Wow we are at mid-May already where is the time going!!

It's the One Day Fae time over at Fairy Ink and the gorgeous Maggie Daisy Fae is up for grabs!

You can find her free here

I have colored her up with my alcohol markers and decided to go more fussy than my norm with my card

Once colored I inked around my image with distress ink. I added design paper from Lili of the Valley to my card base and inked this too. I then chose a coordinating paper from the same collection and tore this before placing under my image.
I used a tuck in die and lace to add a bit of texture. Then embellished the card with mulberry flowers and die cut butterflies. I then die cut "hi" twice using colors from the design and adhered these to the card slightly overlapping so that it gave the effect of shadowing.

It's Faery Ink's birthday this month and there has been lots of fun going on on the Facebook page. There are freebies still available and we would love to see what you can do with them so don't forget to post your images on the Facebook page for us all to see!
