Mary, Mary..........

Good morning, We are having such a mixed bunch of weather at the moment, flip flops yesterday - boots today!!!! Hopefully spring will finally arrive and keep us in flip flops soon!

Today is another brand new release over at Scrapper's Delights and the coloring pages keep coming! These are great scenes that you can print in any size so can just color or make into a card like I have done with The Fairy Trio

Aren't they adorable! I printed the PNG scene onto some patterned paper that looks like the pages of a book. This meant they stayed white on the paper and I could color them using my copic markers. I then added the first line from the nursery rhyme Mary Mary quite contrary as I felt this matched the cute image.

My design was then matted onto a white card base with some red card pulling in from the colors I used on the image. 

I have had the little ladybug in my stash for ages and I felt this was the perfect card to use him on.

Crafty Friend

Good morning - it looks a gorgeous morning here but it is sooo cold!

A good day to stay in and craft which brings me to my inspiration card for Scrapper's Delights. Don't forget they have a challenge running over on the blog where you could win yourself some money to buy their gorgeous digital stamps.

Meet Crafty Honey who is about to use her markers:

She's not like me - I need a desk to color on - I could never lay on the floor!

She has been colored using Copic Markers and then I have used Polychromo pencils to deepen the shading. 

I made a 7x5 inch card base and matted this with turquoise card and patterned paper. I then die cut the scribble and the circle frame for my sentiment in the same card. Once I adhered these to my card I fussy cut Honey and added her. The sentiment is part of the digital stamp bundle and I resized this so it would fit in the frame and printed in white card adding it to the center of the round frame.

A few dots of Nuvo drops just balanced the design.
